An original photograph taken by local lass Kate Haslegrave.
Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper which is rough in texture and works really well with the landscape photographs taken in Bronte Country.
The curlews come to Bronte Country every year to breed. Curlews are ground nesting birds and they favour the moorlands in and around Yorkshire as their chosen breeding sites. I absolutely love them being here throughout the summer months and always miss them when they are gone.
They are very much a part of the landscape here and can often be seen stood on dry stone walls protecting their chicks.
