Capturing Yorkshire one photograph at a time.

There is nothing I love more than being in the great outdoors, surrounded by nature. Fresh air filling my lungs, the feel of a cool wind against my skin. Feeling the burn in my legs as I’m walking across the Yorkshire landscape.

The colours of the landscape, and watching them change with the seasons. Those vibrant green mosses contrasting against the subtle greys of the dry stone walls. The vibrant greens and burnt orange of the brackens and ferns.

Oh and the sheep. How can I forget the sheep. Always present. I am a Yorkshire lass and this is my story. A story of Yorkshire’s finest peaks, and Dales. One photograph at a time.

  • Bronte Country

I live in Haworth and head up to Haworth Moors most mornings for a walk. I have just recently embarked on a new project writing about the comings and goings in Bronte Country throughout the course of the year. The changing seasons, migrating birds, the change of the colours across the landscape. Click below to follow me on my journey.

  • Yorkshire Dales

When I’m not in my local patch of Haworth then I’m most likely in some quiet corner of the Yorkshire Dales. If I’m not up a peak then I’ll be down Dale somewhere. Visit the blog to follow me on the walks, information on the routes and to look at photographs of the stunning scenery I pass along the way.

  • Prints

Many of my photographs are available to buy as prints. Feel free to have a browse through my gallery. My pledge to my beloved Dales is to donate 5% of any profits back to nature, whether it be fixing footpaths or helping wildlife.
